From August 7 to 10, Barcelona will host the third edition of Brunch Electronik Festival, one of the city’s most innovative electronic music events. Spread over four days and held at two iconic venues — Poble Espanyol and Parc del Fòrum — the festival promises a unique musical and social experience for all attendees.
The Brunch Electronik Festival press conference featured two of the event’s key figures: co-founders Loïc Le Joliff and François Jozic. Jozic opened the event by highlighting how the festival has evolved through active listening to feedback from both the public and the media. He also emphasized the festival’s strong commitment to inclusion — a central focus this year that goes beyond support for LGBTQ+ communities and women, extending to special attention for people with disabilities to ensure their full participation.
Next, Jorge Valdez, head of booking and also a producer and DJ known as ValaV, explained the festival’s focus on emerging artists who will enrich this year’s lineup. His goal is to provide a platform for new talent that brings fresh energy and creativity to the electronic music scene, allowing audiences to discover innovative sounds alongside well-known artists.
Following that, Loïc Le Joliff introduced the official lineup. Some of the standout names include Adriatique, Ben Böhmer, Sofia Kourtesis, The Martinez Brothers, Nina Kraviz, Pachanga Boys, Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, and Seth Troxler — a stellar group of artists representing the best in the global electronic music scene and ensuring a top-quality program.
Laura Corada, Brand Partnerships Director, closed the press conference by underlining the importance of sponsors for making the event possible and supporting its growth. Thanks to these collaborations, Brunch can offer a high-quality and sustainable experience, while promoting the innovation and inclusion that define this unique festival.
With a strong lineup and a clear social commitment, Brunch Electronik Festival is preparing to offer the city four days of music, diversity, and culture, solidifying its place as one of Barcelona’s top summer events.
After the press conference, Teens Media Network had the opportunity to speak with one of the festival’s founders, François Jozic. In an enthusiastic conversation, François shared the story of Brunch, talked about his entrepreneurial journey, and offered advice for those looking to start their own music projects.
Below, we share some excerpts from that interview, and we invite you to follow us on YouTube and Instagram to watch the full interview, where François discusses how to break into the cultural industries.
