Global beats ignite Barcelona’s Brunch Electronik 2025

The second day of Brunch Electronik 2025 kicked off this Friday, August 8, at Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum, one of the festival’s two venues alongside Poble Espanyol. This year, the event brings together more than 90 artists across six stages over four days, combining top-tier electronic music with both local and international crowds.

The gates opened at 3:00 p.m., and from the start, the atmosphere kept building as the afternoon turned into night. The first sets came from Esther Bronchal, Virgi Nou, Valav, and Santana. Later, Chelina Manuhutu, Pachanga Boys, DJ Gigola, and Suze Ijó kept the main esplanade buzzing, which gradually filled with people.

The night reached new heights with big names from the global scene such as Loco Dice, Patrick Mason, Sofía Kourtesis, Adriatique, The Martinez Brothers, and Nina Kraviz, who set the pace until closing time. The visual production, powerful sound, and flawless organization were some of the day’s highlights. TMN members also enjoyed shows like those by Imbermind and Helado Negro, as well as Korolova’s set.

Covering an event like this as part of TMN allowed me to see firsthand the attention to detail and technical level of each performance. It was also an opportunity to meet audiences who travel from different countries to experience the festival, appreciating both the lineup and the setting. Professionally, it’s been very rewarding to experience something like this from the inside, as it’s a truly immersive and enriching experience.

In short, Friday confirmed the strength of Brunch Electronik 2025: a powerful lineup, solid organization, safe atmosphere, and a dedicated crowd. With two days still ahead, expectations for the finale are high, and everything points to this edition being one of the most memorable in the festival’s history.
