PANICK SHACK

chaos and charm

If Panic Shack know one thing, it is how to turn a live set into a full blown celebration. Formed in 2018 by Sarah, Meg, Romi, Em and Nick, the Cardiff group emerged as a playful yet defiant response to the gatekeeping energy often found in indie and punk circles. Their approach has always been simple. Make noise, make space, make it fun.

That spirit runs through both their music and their stage presence. With early shows spreading largely by word of mouth, the band built a reputation for high energy performances that balance thrashy punk urgency with a sense of theatrical movement and humour. Their 2022 EP Baby Shack captured some of that electricity on record, pairing sharp hooks with a mischievous tone that quickly became part of their identity.
Their self titled debut album, released in July 2025, marks a clear expansion of that sound. While still rooted in gutsy punk instincts, the record introduces layered vocal harmonies, synth textures and touches of electronic experimentation, pointing toward a broader sonic horizon.
