Independent record stores remain one of the few physical points of contact between music and audience. Beyond retail, they work as meeting spaces where taste and discovery happen in real time. Record Store Day reinforces that role by shifting attention back to the store itself, not just the releases, and to the people behind the counter.
Independent Vinyl in Brooklyn
Vinyl Veritas operates across two nearby locations: a smaller street-level shop at 111 Front Street, and a larger space on the 7th floor at 45 Main Street, one block away.
The Front Street shop opens at 8AM. Customers can line up earlier, with check-in starting around 6AM. Entry follows a first come, first served system, with a limit of one copy per release per person.
More than 250 Record Store Day titles will be available, including limited and exclusive releases. Some items may be reduced to very small quantities.
Record Store Day exclusives will only be sold at the Front Street location.
After the first round of purchases, access opens to the 7th floor at 45 Main Street. There will be DJs, refreshments, giveaways, and 10% off new titles for anyone who purchased a Record Store Day release.
Additional used vinyl stock will be available throughout the day.
A live list of available titles will be shared and updated as items sell out.
