The Spanish band Veintiuno provided the soundtrack to Friday night, May 16, at the iconic Sala Apolo in Barcelona, as part of their highly anticipated national tour: the Mitología Tour.
Half an hour before the concert began, the band’s vocalist, Diego Arroyo, surprised early arrivals with an acoustic performance of “Chihiro,” creating an intimate, exclusive moment for a lucky few. The atmosphere in the venue was calm and relaxed—until things began to warm up with the arrival of Argentine duo Koino Yokan, who opened the show.
Veintiuno didn’t take long to hit the stage with their signature upbeat energy, instantly turning the venue into a full-on party from the first chords. The band from Toledo—Diego, Rafa, Yago, and Pepe—brought contagious ease and charisma. With tracks like “La Ruina” and the crowd-favorite “Mañana lo dejo, ¡hoy no me da la gana!” they set the tone for a night filled with good vibes.
The popular Spanish indie band came to Barcelona to present their latest album, La Balada de Delirio y Equilibrio, delivering powerful live versions of some of their best songs, including “Mitologia”, “Armadura” and “Complicidad” for which they were joined on stage by Catalan singer-songwriter Suu.

The guys from Veintiuno never go unnoticed on any stage or festival lineup—and after seeing them live, it’s easy to see why: they radiate charisma, talent, and above all, pure energy. The night’s climax came, without a doubt, when Diego stepped down into the crowd to sing “Estarás,” surrounded by fans in one of those unforgettable moments of absolute connection. That moment kicked off the final stretch of the show—a nonstop high that brought hits like “Irremediable” and “La Toscana”.
They closed the night with the long-awaited “Dopamina” and “La vida moderna” during which the crowd didn’t stop jumping and dancing for a single second. With their stage presence, fresh attitude, and a setlist as rhythmic as it is catchy, the Toledo-based quartet proved once again why they’re a must-watch name in Spain’s alternative pop scene. Once you discover them, it’s almost impossible not to have them on repeat.
“The guys from Veintiuno never go unnoticed on any stage or at any festival—and after seeing them live, it’s not hard to see why: they overflow with charisma, talent, and above all, pure vitality.”
