AKA BK is an alternative indie project based in Los Angeles, shaped by influences like The Pixies, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Breeders. Their sound moves between control and distortion, keeping a clear sense of direction.

The band’s live set combines guitar driven songs with direct vocals, moving between quieter sections and louder passages. The project is built on long standing friendships. BK and bassist Cecile Herledan started playing together at age 11 in Metro Detroit.
They are joined by guitarists Julian Cullars and Sean Gunner Lee, who have been active in Los Angeles bands since 2013.
