Superchunk, Incendiary and Hotline TNT lead this year’s Record Store Day program at Rockefeller Center, with a full day of live sets taking over Midtown on April 18.

Curated by Rough Trade, the event runs as iNDIEPLAZA, a free, open setup bringing live music directly into one of the busiest spaces in the city.

Superchunk bring a direct, guitar-driven indie rock sound shaped over decades. Incendiary push a high-intensity hardcore approach built for impact. Hotline TNT lean into distortion and melody, sitting between shoegaze and indie rock.

The lineup continues with Momma performing a duo set, alongside Winter, Friko, Nuovo Testamento and Weird Nightmare.

Between sets, DJs Avalon Emerson, Soul in the Horn and Saint Virgil keep the plaza moving throughout the day.

Vinyl still drives the day

Limited Record Store Day releases from Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, Paramore and Weezer are expected to move early, with lines forming well before opening at Rough Trade’s locations inside the complex.

Food vendors and access to Top of the Rock extend the setup, but the structure stays simple: live music first, records second, crowd throughout.

For a day, Rockefeller Center becomes a listening space.
