HOW TMN PAVED MY PATH IN THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES

A year ago, my friend Maya and I were in university making daily TikToks, dreaming of getting press passes for Primavera Sound. We enjoyed imagining being there, being part of that world we saw from the outside. Today, I look back and see how much things have changed: not only did I attend Primavera Sound, but I also had the opportunity to interview Albert Guijarro, the festival’s director; Marta Pallarés, head of communication; and Pablo Hache, the event's creative. What was once a distant dream became a reality, and all thanks to TMN.
Now, I embark on a new adventure: covering the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week for the Berlin-based magazine Schön! Magazine, one of my favorite fashion magazines. A new challenge that excites me and, once again, wouldn’t have been possible without TMN. Not only for the trust they’ve placed in me from day one but also for the space for growth and learning they’ve built for all of us.
TMN has not only opened doors for me, but it has also given me the freedom to explore, learn, make mistakes, and try again. It has allowed me to grow in an environment where creativity is in the air and encouraged. From iconic festivals like Primavera Sound, Sónar y Brunch Electronik to the Festival de Cine de Sitges, D’A and l’Alternativa. Also at 080 Barcelona Fashion, LOS40 Music Awards, and countless concerts and events: GREC, Alma, Cerdanya Music Festival, Pedralbes… even at the Liceu Theater. Every experience has been a learning opportunity, a chance to get closer to the industries that have always fascinated me.

On this journey, I’ve had the privilege of speaking with figures like Antonia Dell’Atte, Samantha Hudson, ganadores de Óscar, directores de cine, cantantes, diseñadores de moda and periodistas I had always admired. Each conversation has been a window into their world, a lesson on how careers in culture, music, film, or fashion are built. I’ve learned to ask, to listen, to observe beyond the obvious. And all of this, once again, has been possible because someone decided to give me a chance.

But what’s important is not just what I’ve done, but having had the opportunity to do it. In the creative world, starting out is the hardest part. And in those first and fragile steps, I’ve had the unconditional support and complete freedom of the TMN team. How important it is for there to be spaces that give opportunities to those who never even imagined what they could achieve.

Talent needs spaces to develop. It needs trust and community. TMN has been that for me: a place where I’ve been allowed to grow without fear, where I’ve been able to experiment and discover my own perspective as a photographer, communicator, and creator.

And it's not just about professional opportunities, but something even more valuable: the opportunity to learn along the way. Surrounding myself with passionate professionals who share their experience. Finding inspiration in every conversation and every event. In a world where uncertainty is a constant for those in communication and culture, finding a space that believes in education, practice, and experimentation is a gift.
Now, I look to the future with the certainty that every step continues to build this path that, just a year ago, seemed unattainable.
