The iconic music festival Primavera Sound is already gearing up for a new edition in Barcelona next year. The event, which will take place from June 3 to 7, 2026, at its usual Parc del Fòrum grounds and across numerous other venues and cultural spaces in the city, will feature renowned headliners including The Cure, Doja Cat, and Gorillaz.

After the great impression left by the 2025 edition — with a dream lineup led by big names such as Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter — all eyes are now on the lineup announcement for this promising new edition. On Thursday, September 25, the organizers confirmed the artists who will shape the new lineup.

The 24th edition of this remarkable festival will feature artists and bands of all styles, with something for everyone. From the legendary post-punk band The Cure, to American rapper Doja Cat, and the electropop group Gorillaz. These headliners, which have already sparked international buzz, will be joined by names such as artist/actress Addison Rae, British singer Lola Yong (known for her viral track “Messy”), Canadian singer-songwriter Mac DeMarco, and acclaimed DJ Skrillex.

On the national front, the festival has confirmed performances by artists such as singer-songwriter Guitarricadelafuente, with his emotive presence and evocative style; Bad Gyal, ready to shake the grounds with her groundbreaking sound; as well as Ralphie Choo and Rojuu, among others.

Why is Primavera Sound so important for TMN?

At Teens Media Network (TMN), we’ve been covering Primavera Sound for two years, aiming to capture the values and vibrant atmosphere it creates. Year after year, the festival manages to immerse its audience in a bubble designed and built for everyone. For the young people who are part of TMN, this means gaining real opportunities to grow and learn in this environment, covering one of the most anticipated music events of the year.

Being able to attend Primavera Sound Barcelona as accredited press gives us direct encounters with artists and the chance to build connections with other journalists and industry professionals. At the same time, thanks to the hard work and visibility of this content, for two consecutive years we’ve positioned ourselves as a news channel where audiences can see everything happening across the festival grounds.

We also want to thank Primavera Sound for supporting our educational mission. This trust is what makes it possible for TMN to keep growing and offering real learning experiences to young creators.

Learning by Doing at a World-Class Festival

Over the past two years, more than 15 young people have had the opportunity to train in areas such as content creation, photography, video, journalism, and digital communication — all within the framework of a world-class international event.

Thanks to our collaboration with Primavera Pro, the professional arm of the festival, in 2025 we brought together a team of 11 creators, including mentors, who closely covered conferences on the music industry. They also conducted exclusive interviews with artists such as Oska and Melyna, as well as with renowned cultural figures from the Barcelona scene like Paula Cidraque, programmer at Sala Apolo.

At TMN, we believe in talent and the drive to create; that’s why these experiences reinforce our proposal as a unique educational program where learning means doing: stepping into a real event — in this case of major scale — and working. In the past two editions, TMN’s young team has left the festival with real portfolios, tangible experiences that set them apart in the industry, and an unforgettable memory: having worked at such a prestigious festival.

That’s why the 2026 edition not only promises a lineup that will once again shape the cultural agenda of the year, but also opens up a new opportunity for TMN to continue consolidating its innovative educational model — offering young talents in journalism and audiovisual media the chance to live a unique experience. At the same time, we continue to reinforce strategic and collaborative alliances with an innovative vision.
