Neither the stifling heat nor the exhaustion from the previous festival days could dull the energy of Primavera Sound’s penultimate day, held at Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum. This Saturday, June 7th, brought a vibrant lineup of artists spanning multiple genres, including Judeline, Amaia, Fontaines DC, and pop diva Chappell Roan.
Cowboy hats and pink outfits, worn in honor of Chappell Roan, were a defining sight on the penultimate day of Primavera Sound Barcelona. From the moment the gates opened, hundreds of people lined up early to secure a good spot at the barricade of the Estrella Damm stage, where the artist was set to perform later that evening.
The summery weather, typical of Barcelona this time of year, offered no respite and scorched the brave souls who arrived early at the Parc del Fòrum. Still, artist Judeline made the wait worthwhile with a powerful setlist.

As on previous days, the Cupra Pulse stage kept the energy high with top DJs taking the reins, refreshing drinks flowing, and stunning sea views providing the perfect backdrop.
One of the must-see—if not mandatory—performances of the day was by Amaia, the Pamplona-born artist widely regarded as one of Spain’s vocal treasures. Known for her exceptional live shows and a stage presence that’s fresh, playful, and truly one-of-a-kind, Amaia captivated her devoted audience with a full 360° experience. From heartfelt ballads accompanied by piano—or even a harp—to upbeat tracks like “M.A.P.S” delivered with vibrant choreography and joyful movement, her performance resonated deeply with everyone lucky enough to witness it.

Meanwhile, the legendary Fontaines DC took over the Revolut stage around the same time, with the sunset adding a magical touch to one of the day’s most anticipated concerts.
The undisputed highlight of the penultimate day was singer Chappell Roan, one of the most desired and awaited acts in Spain. She brought a stage design that perfectly reflected her aesthetic and the artistic persona she has created. Standout songs included “Casual,” “HOT TO GO!”—complete with its iconic dance that every single attendee joined in— the hit “Good Luck, Babe!,” the unreleased track “Subway,” which moved the crowd to tears, and “Pink Pony Club.” Yet, every song she performed had its own unique spark, making each moment unforgettable.

The magic of Primavera Sound didn’t end with the departure of the redhead, as rapper Central Cee took over the adjacent stage, bringing a fresh rhythm and ramping up the energy.
Across the other stages, bands like Machine Girl, Aminé, and Confidence Girl kept the crowd awake and energized—a task made easy thanks to the vibrant enthusiasm of this year’s audience. One of the night’s highlights was New York’s electronic post-punk group LCD Soundsystem, who had everyone dancing until their set ended at 3 a.m., performing two unreleased songs from an upcoming album still in production.

Once again, Primavera Sound has done it: the festival successfully attracted all kinds of people by offering a wide array of artists and bands, turning Barcelona into a city that will forever hold the sweet memories of the most magical days of summer.
The strength of Primavera Sound lies in the dedication of everyone behind its success, who strive to perfect every detail so that every inch of the venue is sprinkled with magic and excitement. Wherever you look, people are living their best moments, surrounded by the finest music and atmosphere, creating memories—often without even realizing it—that they will nostalgically cherish in the years to come.
