Young Creators Meet World Voices at the Global Citizen Festival

On September 27, 60,000 people gathered in Central Park for Global Citizen Festival 2025 — and millions more joined online. The lineup brought together artists including Shakira, Cardi B, ROSÉ, Camilo, Elyanna, Ayra Starr, Tyla, and Mariah the Scientist, while the campaign mobilized record-breaking commitments to protect the Amazon, expand education, and provide clean energy to millions of homes across Africa.

What is Global Citizen?
Global Citizen is the world’s largest movement to end extreme poverty. Through concerts and campaigns, it brings together artists, activists, governments, and companies to push for urgent action on climate, education, equality, and more. Since its founding, over $49 billion in commitments have been made through Global Citizen platforms, impacting more than a billion lives worldwide.
Why This Matters for TMN
For TMN, being at this festival was more than covering a show. It was a space for our creator Micah Bierman to work as accredited press, standing on the media deck with professional photographers and experiencing how global events are documented. The result: over 250,000 views across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with more than 10,000 reactions — all organic, all produced by young creators.
