This course is designed for beginners who want to get into cultural coverage and learn how content is created around real events and cultural moments.
Across four weeks of guided mentorship and practical assignments, participants work through the full process of new media coverage — from preparing a coverage and understanding context, to working on the ground at events and delivering publication-ready content with clear editorial criteria.

Coverage Workflow
How cultural coverage operates in practice — from preparing a coverage independently to documenting events and publishing content according to new media and editorial standards.
Content Creation in Real Contexts
How to create content around film festivals, music festivals, red carpets, screenings, and live cultural events using text, video, or mixed formats.
Editorial Thinking
How to identify relevance, context, and strong angles, ask better questions, and make clear decisions about what is worth covering.
Independent Practice
How to structure, refine, and publish content in a way that allows you to work independently as a content creator after the course.

About the Instructor
Pablo Herrera is the Founder and CEO of Teens Media Network® (TMN®). His work has been recognized by the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) and the Directors Guild of America (DGA), and he has been awarded by the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE).
He has over 20 years of experience working in media and cultural journalism, covering film festivals, music festivals, red carpets, screenings, and cultural events internationally, including SXSW, Primavera Sound, and other major industry gatherings.
