Sombr Blasts Through Barcelona with His “The Late Nights and Young Romance Tour”
The New York singer stepped onto Spanish soil for the first time with two dates, one in Madrid and one in Barcelona, delivering an energetic show at Sant Jordi Club.

After several European stops promoting his debut album I Barely Know Her, February 25 marked his Barcelona debut. Originally scheduled to perform at Razzmatazz, the show was moved to the larger Sant Jordi Club, a leap that not only confirmed the rapid growth of his career but also proved his ability to fill the venue on his first visit to the country. A remarkable achievement for a 20 year old artist steadily building his name on the international stage.
Opening with a powerful “I Wish I Knew How to Quit Her,” Sombr took the stage wearing a sequined shirt that shimmered under the lights, perfectly aligned with the set design, which recreated the atmosphere of a late night show with the New York skyline in the background. From the very first moment, it was clear that his voice is one of his strongest assets. He masters technique, but more importantly, he masters emotion, delivering each lyric in a way that makes the audience feel exactly what he feels.

The energy surged immediately and was infectious. Songs like “We Never Dated” and “Perfume” kept the emotional intensity rising, leading into “Do I Ever Cross Your Mind,” which transformed the venue into a collective experience as thousands of fans sang along in unison.
Sombr moved constantly across the stage, jumping, playing with his microphone cable, and maintaining a dynamic presence throughout the night. One of the standout moments came with “Homewrecker,” one of his most recent singles, performed with almost cathartic intensity, reaffirming the emotional connection his music creates with a generation that sees itself reflected in his lyrics.
The Sant Jordi Club shifted from euphoria to complete silence during “Canal Street,” one of the most intimate moments of the night. Sombr’s delivery turned the performance into something direct and deeply personal.

After briefly leaving the stage, he returned to the sound of the crowd chanting for more.
“I don’t take anything for granted. Thank you so much for coming. You saved my life and I promise I will come every year,” he confessed, sealing the bond with the audience.
To close the night, “Back to Friends” and “12 to 12” marked the farewell, although Sombr extended the final chorus repeatedly, reluctant to let the moment end.
His Barcelona debut confirmed what is becoming increasingly evident: Sombr is an artist on the rise, combining emotional sincerity with stage presence well beyond his years.
